Ever since I became a veg*n, I have tried on numerous occasions to work with tofu. It is fine if I am blending it with something to make a sauce. But on its own to bake or fry, ummmm - no. It NEVER works out.
I froze the extra firm tofu, defrosted it and pressed the water out of it and got this :(
Oh well, maybe some other time. Well, at least my steamed sausages are edible!
